Impression #3 is part of the Impression Project, a series of glass plates painted with a blend of water, sea water and watercolors.

The impressions are singular attempts to depict an image in a liquid mass. The image is formed and informed by the evaporating process of the painting: surface level, temperature variations, hygrometry and natural deposits become pictorial elements to reveal the motion of liquids.
